Stage Band
The Redland City Stage Band rehearses Monday nights from 6:30 pm to 8 pm. This band is a platform for musicians of all ages who wish to improve their skills in playing a variety of music including big band, jazz and swing pieces. Comprised of saxophones, trumpets, trombones, piano, guitars and drums, this small group can really produce some sound!
The Stage Band plays at formal concerts, jazz festivals, park concerts, church fetes, fundraisers - in fact, wherever toetapping music is required, the Stage Band is probably playing!
Big Band
The Redland City Big Band rehearses Monday nights from 8:15 pm to 9:45 pm. It caters for competent musicians of all ages who have an interest in playing a variety of music with a big band concept.
Like the Stage Band, this band has a line up of saxophones, trumpets, trombones, guitars and drums.
Under the direction of Rod Bridges, the band plays at formal concerts, jazz festivals, dances and park concerts.
